

Susan Sparrow
Practice Administrator
Susan joined the practice in 2006 and has a national certificate in animal care as well as an animal nursing assistant qualification. Although Susan can most often be found now working in her administrator role, she still has an interest in watching procedures out back.


Emma Hudson
Head Receptionist
Emma is one of our receptionists and works at both Cliff Lane and Ellenbrook branches. Emma loves animals and enjoys welcoming back regular clients as well as hugging the new puppies. She has a keen interest in the health and wellbeing of animals as well as watching some of the operations. Emma has three budgies, Archimedes Flit and Marahute – all named after Disney characters.


Caryl Crouch
Receptionist
Caryl works at both sites, in the past she has owned a large variety of pets including a Tortoise and an African Grey Parrot. She would love to have chickens but for now she is kept busy with her Doberman, Alba.


Hayley Damant
Receptionist
Hayley joined the practice in 2013 and works at our Ellenbrook branch. Her favourite part of the job is in caring for both animals and their owners. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and one dog, and designing and making jewellery.


Mandy Dool
Receptionist
Mandy has worked here since 2012 loves meeting and greeting the clients and having cuddles from all the kittens and puppies. Mandy is also our very own Mary Berry and makes the best cakes! She also has a cat called Bella.


Sue Kite
Receptionist and Qualified Bereavement Counsellor
Sue initially joined the Cliff Lane surgery as an assistant nurse and receptionist in 1995. Sue is our bereavement counsellor and has training in NOCN Pet Bereavement (Level 2) as well as a BTEC intermediate award in veterinary practice client care. She has a passion for animal welfare and conservation, and enjoys the outdoors, be it bird watching, rock concerts or astronomy.


Cassie O'Connor
Receptionist
Cassie started with us in June 2018 and loves getting to know our clients and their pets and making them feel welcome. Since working with us she has rehomed a beautiful stray ginger cat with big fat cheeks and given his unknown background of being a street cat he was named O’Malley, from the Disney film Aristocats.
Out of work, she enjoys spotting local wildlife when out walking and cycling. Cassie also likes to watch wildlife in a less strenuous way through nature documentaries, particularly those by David Attenborough

Heidi Kenny
Receptionist
Heidi has been at Riversbrook Vets since 2019, she works at both Cliff Lane and Ellenbrook. When not at work, she spends as much time as she can with her grandchildren and exploring the Suffolk countryside with her Jack Russell Meg.
